Days are shorter but temperature are still warm, September has come to Barcelona. Find out all events of September in Barcelona.

Fiesta de la Mercè

From the 24th to the 26th of September Barcelona will celebrate its Saint. Don’t miss the Mercè Festival!

The city will be full with traditions, events and most of all music.

The program will be publish on the 6th of September.

BAM Festival

Since 25 years, BAM Festival discovers new talents in all kinds of music: electronic, dance, pop, rock. In Catalunya and worldwide.

The Festival happens aways during the Mercè, and it brings more than 40 artist on stage, every year.

Markets

One of the things to do in September in Barcelona is visit Two Markets events. Season will start on the 2nd of September with the Boom Market, and it will last the whole month.

M.O.D.A. ‘s Concert

M.O.D.A. band arrives to Barcelona on the 5th of September. From a garage in Burgos to the European stages, keeping the feet on the ground.

A band with folk, blues, rock & roll y punk influences.

Festa Major del Poblenou

Poblenou neighbourhood is warming up with its Festival, before the Mercè Fest.

Most of the events will take place in Rambla de Poblenou.

La Prohibida at Nits del Forum

One of the Indie Travesti international icons. La Prohibida aka Amapola López aka Shaila Longfire,arrives to Nits del Forum with her band. She is going to present her new album En Acústico. Are you going to miss it?

DGTL

The Dutch electronic festival is back to Barcelona on the 3rd and 4th of September.

Of course, the DGTL will bring to Barcelona the best names of the techno and house underground music.

Lola Indigo at Share Festival 

Thanks to the success of ´Santería’, with Danna Paola and Denise Rosenthal, or ‘¿Cómo te va?’, with Beret, Lola Indigo became really famous in a short time. Her concert will be on the 4th of September at the Share Festival.

International Catalunya Day (Diada)

On the 11th of September Barcelona celebrates the International Catalunya Day. It’s a different kind of celebration than the Mercè festival, as it’s more an institutional day.

Anyway, during the Diada many museums will be for free.

Catalan books week

From the 10th to the 19th of September there will take place the 39th edition of the Catalan Book Week. There are always many activities, such as: presentations, workshops, literature analysis.
