A few weeks ago, the City Hall confirmed there would be celebrations for San Juan in Barcelona. It seems that the world is slowly coming back to normal.
Therefore, there will be back the traditions and bonfires. Find out all you can do for San Juan in Barcelona.
Barcelona got back the beaches for San Juan.
Last year the celebrations were really atypical. But this year it has been announced that the celebrations will be like we know them.
For this reason, beaches will be open and used as a space for the festivity, as per tradition.
Police will be checking that the security restrictions are respected.
In addition, the government has assured that beaches will be dislodged before 6 a.m., ready for the day after.
This year there will be bonfires. Even though the police have recommended smaller ones to avoid agglomerations.
Concerts and cultural acts.
Events need to respect the COVID-19 restrictions. The maximum capacity will be 70%, 1000 people indoor and 3000 persons outdoors.
Fireworks and pyrotechnics are allowed too, but we need to avoid agglomerations. The public needs to stay seated as long as it’s possible.
